Monthly Stipends:

  • University students: €650/month
  • PhD candidates: €1,025.50/month
  • University teachers, researchers, and artists:
  • Without PhD and <4 years of experience: €734/month
  • With PhD and <10 years of experience: €980/month
  • With PhD and >10 years of experience: €1,050/month

Travel Allowances (based on distance):

  • 200–300 km: €50
  • 300–500 km: €100
  • 500–1,000 km: €250
  • 1,000–2,000 km: €350
  • 2,000–3,000 km: €500
  • 3,000–5,000 km: €750
  • 5,000–7,000 km: €1,100
  • Over 7,000 km: €1,500

Scholarships also cover food, accommodation, and other essential expenses, providing scholars with a comfortable environment to focus on their goals.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Be international students enrolled at universities outside Slovakia.

2. Be undergraduate students who have completed at least 2.5 years of university studies or Master’s students in their second level of higher education.

3. Hold an invitation or acceptance letter from a Slovak institution.

4. Submit a detailed study/research plan with clear objectives.

5. Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction or research (Slovak or English).

6. Meet specific Slovak institution requirements.

Note: Previous scholarship holders must show significant academic or professional progress to reapply.
