The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU-Africa) is dedicated to transforming the lives of talented young Africans who face significant social and economic challenges. Through this program, students pursue Master of Science degrees in Information Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Engineering Artificial Intelligence, equipping them with the skills to drive meaningful change across Africa.

Since its inception in 2016, the Scholars Program has focused on one core vision: education as a powerful tool for social and economic change.
