Eligibility Criteria for DAAD Scholarships

  • Applicants from all developing countries are encouraged to apply (check eligible countries list)
  • Must meet specific academic requirements for the chosen program
  • Achieved higher than average results in previous academic exams (top third performance)
  • Proficiency in German or English language skills
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (typically a four-year course) in a relevant subject
  • Last academic degree completed no more than six years before application
  • At least two years of professional experience
  • Demonstrate motivation related to development goals
  • Show commitment to social responsibility
  • Plan to initiate and support change in personal and professional environments post-scholarship

Financial Benefits

  • DAAD Scholarship Monthly Stipend
    • 934 euros will be provided for a master studies
    • 1,300 euros will be provided for doctoral studies
  •  Health, accident, and personal liability insurance payments will be provided.
  • Travel Allowance.
  • Free tuition fee
