Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarship Programme 2025 for Young Africans at the University of Oxford

Apply now for the 2025 Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarship Programme.

This AfOx scholarship programme is in partnership with the University of Oxford and the Mastercard Foundation. Through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), the scholarship will empower seven young Africans. In partnership with the Saïd Business School Foundation, up to seven AfOx Graduate Scholarships are available for the 2025-26 MBA programme.

AfOx is a cross-university platform based at the University of Oxford to facilitate equitable and sustainable collaborations between researchers at the University of Oxford and African universities, as well as increase the number of African students pursuing postgraduate degrees in Oxford.

Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarships are available for applicants who are African nationals, are ordinarily resident in African countries, and who can demonstrate a commitment to Africa’s development. The scholarships cover course fees and a grant for living costs, as well as tailor-made training programmes, networking opportunities and support for students before, during and following their time at Oxford.
